Giving
We believe giving is an act of worship that advances the Kingdom of God. Your generosity supports the daily operations of Elmwood Park Church and fuels the community outreach, ministries, and missions we are committed to serving. Whether through tithes, offerings, or special gifts, every contribution helps us share the love of God and meet the spiritual and practical needs of our neighbors.

giving as an act of worship
We believe that everything we have already belongs to God. He is our creator, redeemer and provider. By giving to the Church we are able to worship Him. It is a physical representation of our total dependence on God and His is ability to provide for us and sustain un in all areas of our lives.
giving as an act of mission
The mission of God, Missio Dei, is to bring His Kingdom about, here on earth. He is on a mission to serve, love, and sacrifice for the sake of His people. As part of a Global Church we are able to give to support mission work internationally and locally. We invest in the lives of people, for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
giving as an act of joy
As I child I thought the best part of Christmas was finding out what I got. As an adult, I now see that the greater joy is giving. Nothing is more heartwarming than giving with joy to those you love. In 2nd Corinthians 9:6-7 Paul reminds us of this: “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Our joy only grows as we give back to the one who has given us everything.
